Have decided to give it one last try. I am hoping that someone has a raven sport that they are willing to sell. It does not have to be pristine, but would prefer it to be in a reasonable condition. I am 5' 91/2" so I think a size 536 would be the correct frame size for me. Or possibly if you hear of one for sale please pm me asap as it seems I have missed a couple recently, by not being on the ball quick enough.

Good luck, Alfie. You'd think at your size, right on the median of the population and in the Thorn range, there would be enough offered to give you a choice of colors...

Oohh, I hope this works out for Alfie. Very frustrating when you can't find the bike you want. Looks good as although owner says he is 6', that saddle is a long way up.
If it turns out to be too small for Alfie, then I will cancel my order and have this instead as much higher spec for lower price. ;D

Hi Jags,
I emailed the seller this morning at 8:30 but as yet have had no reply and cannot get through on the number quoted. What has been happening recently is sellers have been replying to me through forums, and people reading them have stepped in and made offers before I can reply. So if this bike is still for sale I will be speaking to the owner. Although if any forum member thinks their need is greater than mine, there is an email address and phone number available. >:(
That's todays moan over and done with.

Hi there.
Have spoken to the owner again who is on holiday until tomorrow, but steady progress is being made and will be in contact again. The owner is a very pleasant person and maybe a deal can be struck. This time I will not hold my breath, and will see how it goes. :)

Looks like I got myself a beautiful red raven sport tour, hopefully it will be with me in the next few weeks. Thanks to all for the encouragement and especially Jags for pointing it out to me in the first place and keeping in touch. glad all that worked out for you alfie.
one of my friends here in town rides one and he loves it cracking bike. he toured France last year and ireland this year .yeah very best of luck with it i'm certain its in perfect nick.
