Title: Thorn Raven crank arm fixing bolt
Post by: John_M on April 15, 2014, 09:20:34 am

My crank arm has been coming lose, I noticed the fixing bolt had fallen out however I'm not sure which one I need to replace it?

If you could advise I would be very grateful :)

I recently returned from a tour and noticed that the crank bolt was rusting. SJS Cycles have now stainless steel ones in stock which I would recommend.
I have a 2009 Raven Tour and these were the correct bolts. A quick email to SJS Cycles would confirm.

Might be worth investing in a crank puller if you don't already have one. This is a good one, though you can get cheaper ...

Best remove both cranks and clean/inspect, then refit with the new crank bolts.
