Title: Two kinds of XTC?
Post by: Andreas on April 13, 2004, 02:22:54 pm
I am considering buying, secondhand, an XTC, model type "XTC-2001". I seem to remember there were to types of XTC earlier - how can I establish which type this is, and what is the difference between the two? Thanks for any advice or help.

From memory, one is a shorter wheelbase model [SWB]...
check the dimensions on the website for the size of the bike and measure the distance between the hubs ...d on't know if there is any ID on the bike other than XTC ... failing that, email Robin Thorn
cheers,
hoogie

The Pre 2002 models had larger top tubes with thinner walls, the newer ones have narrower top tubes with thicker walls. Apart from that the colour was diffrent.
