Title: Worn Shimano FC-M730 middle chainring 36 T replacement
Post by: tc7101 on September 11, 2020, 08:53:40 pm
Hi there

I need to replace the middle 36T chainring on my Thorn Club tour mk 4.

It currenlty has a Shimano FC-M730 crankset.

Can't find any replacement parts for it on the market.

Does anyone know a good compatible chainring that I could buy  - or do I need to replace the whole crankset

Thanks

AFAIK that is the old standard with 110 mm BCD outer and middle rings and 74 mm BCD inner ring.

These sizes are still made, at least by TA specialités, probably also Stronglight.

SJS cycles will probably have something compatible in their huge range of chainrings, although it may be 11 speed compatible now.
