Title: London to Edinburgh via Land's End and John o'Groats
Post by: j-ms on May 25, 2019, 08:13:19 pm
We are now more than a week into our tour of the UK and really grateful for all the good weather we have enjoyed so far.  My journal can be read at:

What a great adventure. Many thanks for posting.
I hope to do an end to end one day. I've only done the Scottish end to end so far.
A couple of quick questions.
Any reason you used cycle blaze rather than crazy guy?
Any hassle booking the train from Reading to Penzance?
Cheers
Matt

Hi Matt

I had started to feel a bit uncomfortable on CGOAB.  CycleBlaze seemed a bit gentler and less confrontational and a number of people who I respected had made the move as well.  I guess, in its current shape, CycleBlaze just suits my views of life a bit better.

Booking the train with the bicycles was very easy on gwr.com but fitting the bicycles into the tiny space provided was a different matter.
