Good luck.
Still got mine, Awsome bike.
Cracking frame.
I use 28mm tyres and no mud guards on Scottish Borders roads.
Mainly used in dry weather as it's my pride and joy.
Be interesting to see what price it goes for.
Mines been used for all types of riding from evening rides to Audax and even been around the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, our luggage was moved on each day!
Mine has 853 tubes, not sure what the difference is. Not much difference I would say, as its down to the skill of the builder. The tubes are fairly similar I would think.
RareGreat buy for someone.
My first Thorn and now own 3.

Hi all!
my first post as i just joined the forum.
I won the lovely pink Cyclosportif on ebay - bit of a bargain methinks. :D
I don't usually have a headtube as long (it's 20cm) - other bikes are around 17.5 or so however it should be a comfy ride.
Plan is to build up with a campagnolo 11 speed compact group I have, King headset, and I've just ordered some matt black mark 3 audax forks and some 45mm pdw mudguards.
maybe I should start a thread.?
cheers
JJ

Absolute giveaway at that price, maybe the colour put some people off. I think you'd pay at least four times that to get Kevin Sayles to build you something similar.

Welcome to the Thorn Sportif Club.
I bet there are not many around.
Running Shimano 105 on mine.
Open Pro wheels with Hope hubs spotted on ebay sometime back.
Still got the original 105 Open Pro Ceramics which I ordered with the bike and used them on a CX Bike for a while, but like the red Hope Hubs matching the paint work.!!
