Title: Rohloff on a Koga - lovely blue
Post by: davefife on March 22, 2017, 07:56:52 pm
I seldom post nowadays, but when I get something like this fully loaded Koga in, I know you folks will appreciate it.

Dave,
Nice bike, it just needs a front pannier rack to level it out when fully loaded ;)

I like that chain free setup - very much. But looking at the photo leaves me wondering about the point of that bottom rear triangle design?  It seems to limit the tire size unnecessarily in order to allow, I would guess, a double or  triple. If that's the case that would strike me as a diluted purpose.  The best designs are specific, imho.

To bad that Koga only does aluminum. I like their short top tube design - but want steel for a long distance tourer. In fact, I want steel only - for every bike of any purpose. Koga's tandem, the twin traveler, is the most one of a kind looking bike I've ever seen, however.  How cool.
