Title: Aluminium elipticle BB mount??

I noticed a friend had a Aluminium elipticle mount for mounting the BB as opposed to my steel one on the thorn Raven.

Mine also has the notches as opposed to the one with the holes.

Where can I get one of those?
Is there a big weight difference?
