might be a plan for next year.

Some good rides round the Forest of Bowland, geocycle's territory I think.

Hmmm... This kind of fits in with plans that I'm forming for next northern spring/summer. The Velo-City Global conference is in Nantes in early June, so I've been thinking about spending a couple of months on the Euro-Velo system. It'd be a shame to be so close and not nip over for this gig, no?  ;)

Wouldn't it be a hoot to organise a meeting of the Thornistas in Lancashire that weekend?  ;D ;) :D ::)

sure would Sam i hope im up for it looks a tough place to cycle with all those hills but what the hell as long as i have the dosh i'l game for a laugh.

I'll only be going if my back improves and i get plenty of work.
i was talking to my buddy bikepacker, so far the arrangements are i get the ferry to liverpool meet him there we then head yonder towards festival camping along the way ;)
he reckong its dead flat yeah right i took that with a pinch of salt. ;D

how hily is it,the reason i ask my back is in a bad way im ok on the flat but i suffer like a dog when theres hills to be climbed.

Liverpool to clitheroe is pretty flat. The hills start North and East of clitheroe and I guess they would figure in planned rides. But, you could choose to ride North of Preston and west over to the fylde if you want flatlands.

ah good stuff would leave the route to bikepacker.
i came home today in bits,i had to do the route for the local wheelers group, there was  20 keen strong cyclists in it with four  stiff  hills .came home got drugs into me a hit the bed still sore..
