The 10 most beautiful bicycles, according to the editors of the hoon's automobile magazine, Top Gear:

That abomination that they start with is indicative of most of the rest of their choices. They aren't to hot on auto styling either.
One has to wonder whether any of them cycle.

You took the words right out of Chris Boardman's mouth (http://youtu.be/OYeYgiHBdwQ) ;)
Quite a funny send up of themselves I believe (and I think Mr Boardman, Martin Low, and Alan Kennedy were probably all in on the joke). Their poster is a classic ;D I am also lead to believe that all of the Top Gear team are actually quite enthusiastic cyclists, though Jeremy Clarkson may be a more recent convert.

James May just recently made some public statements (http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/public/cyclesafety/article4175840.ece) in support of urban cycling.

Anyone else unable to view the above-mentioned web page
http://www.bbc.com/autos/story/20140821-the-10-most-beautiful-bicycles (http://www.bbc.com/autos/story/20140821-the-10-most-beautiful-bicycles)
When I try to go to this web page I get redirected to a "/help" page which contains the following text:
"BBC Worldwide (International Site)
We're sorry but this site is not accessible from the UK as it is part of our international service and is not funded by the licence fee. It is run commercially by BBC Worldwide, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the BBC, the profits made from it go back to BBC programme-makers to help fund great new BBC programmes. You can find out more about BBC Worldwide and its digital activities at www.bbcworldwide.com."
I think I have managed to access this same "10 most beautiful bicycles" image list here: http://imgur.com/gallery/mSDbg (http://imgur.com/gallery/mSDbg)
What is it with these content-producers that want to sub-divide the world into lots of compartmentalized regions?

I'm just grateful the BBC produces generally high quality stuff for "foreign" consumption. We have a gazillion channels but our television, when it is even operated (it hasn't been for about a year now because we're working our way through many shelf-feet of movies on DVD), is almost never tuned to anything but the BBC. I get my daily weather (for the nearby port of Kinsale) from the BBC too, via my iPad.
