Anyone tried or has opinion on it. The Wikipedia link gives a good idea of how it works. Opinions still appreciated. Gear spread isn't great but the constant cadence is really the only reason I am looking. I have septic arthritis and constant high cadence would put less strain, the downside is the lack of gears.

I've ridden around the block, essentially. The local bike shop had one for test rides (Fallbrook is headquartered right here in Cedar Park, TX, USA). It's pretty darn heavy, though. I'd probably stick with a more conventional IGH for human powered transport. I think the NuVinci shines on motorized bicycles.
