Hey Fearghal. I was following your blog and picked up a Sherpa as well. Hoping to head off on my own tour. I see youve sold your Sherpa now. Was there any particular reason for that? By the way I read your book and really enjoyed it - very inspiring!

Where are you off to on your tour? I sold me Sherpa because for a number of reasons and picked up a second hand Raleigh tourer. I wasnt happy with the steering on the Sherpa - it was way too light. The bike itself was too heavy for me and I just thought it was overkill and too expensive for what I was doing. I paid for a Dynamo and PlugIn charger too which I barely used. Considering it was a custom fit I was surprised how uncomfortable it felt.
