Title: Shimano Alfine 11 Oil Changes

I have seen on the web where Rohloff Oil was used in the Alfine 11 hub gear.  Comments ?

If it were mine I would use the correct oil, that way shimano will honour any warranty issues. Looking at the price of the oil it is not much difference to buying rohloff oil,  but the oil changing kit is pricy.

Yes, I think I'll stick with the correct oils.
I have found that the Rohloff "Oil filler tube with threaded connector & syringe" are compatible so will wash them out 'tween services. (And blow dry them !)
