The Thornton's cycles in Rugby have a shop soiled Raleigh royal 55cm for sale for £300 it works fine just a few light marks on it.

Yes they are, my cycling life started on a Raleigh from the same LBS some 40 years ago and now my kids have Raleigh from the same shop, I love this LBS.

peter i'm still riding my 753 raleigh  as good as the day it was made,but once i get my new thorn audax built up i could possibly be retired or maybe not ;)

I really wanted a Raleigh Randonneur back in the 90's, alas it was never to be.   :(
