Title: Inspirational Posters
Post by: nztony on March 06, 2014, 06:41:48 AM
Here are a few inspirational posters I read this evening:

and one I imagine many people on the Thorn Forum will very much relate to:

Dan, I absolutely knew you'd love that second link.

When I started reading it, I thought it was going to be the complete opposite, i.e. talking us into keeping our original bike going, regardless of how old and neglected it might be, and shun shiny new purchases.

Rule #12 // The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.
While the minimum number of bikes one should own is three, the correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned. This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

I have 4 and one in the incubation stage. But I can only keep 4 as the beater is outside and I have no garage so...

(of course the XTC is not going unless it's going to be replaced by a 500S or a 525S ;)

Yes, this is wonderful stuff, Jawine; thanks for posting that link. I have enjoyed it greatly over time.

No, no, no...there's room under the bed, behind the door, hanging in the pantry or closet. That's enough for three more, easy! Then, you can label them Art and put them on those wall-leaning display stands.

All the best,
