I bought this off Bevis from this forum earlier this year. I've done about 700 miles on it since I bought it and haven't had any issues whatsoever. Amazing bike. Really fast, comfortable and responsive. Here's a copy/paste of the add that Bevis uploaded (hope you don't mind Bevis).

I haven't had any buyers for this yet. Suprising at that price! Anyway, if anybody is interested I'm open to offers...

Its a 536L I think.

Hi Brian
I wasn't looking for a Raven Sport Tour but if you need to sell it quickly I will give you £650. I realise that's a significant reduction on your original asking price but its not my ideal bike and that would be my limit. Kevin

Hey Kevin,
I've had a few messages from interested people today so I'll hold off on that offer thanks. If I can't get close to £825 I'll build my own expedition bike using the rohloff on this bike and sell the Raven Sport Tour frame.
Thanks anyway!

Hi Brian
Remember that you can get your Rohloff converted to an EX Box, or even converted to take disc brakes, which would widen your options for an expedition bike build.
Hope this helps.

Cheers for the advice Jim. I think I might have a buyer for the whole bike so fingers crossed I won't need to start tinkering too much....
Thanks for the support Onrbikes!
Kevin and jags, keep up the banter it's keeping me very entertained...

Hi Shackelton,
Is it still for sale?
I am 5'8" with 29.5" / 30" inside leg - is this about the right size for me?
Will take 32mm tyres ok?
Thanks
-
Hi Hoodadter,
I have made an agreement with somebody to sell it. If the transaction falls through I'll let you know.
All the best,
Brian
-
Hi Shackelton,
Good luck with your sale
Hoodatder
-
Hi Hoodadter,
The bike is available again as the previous transaction fell through (the buyer has decided to save up for a brand new bike apparently).
Anyway, this bike is the perfect size for your height and it will take 32mm tires with plenty of space to spare.
If you are still interested let me know,
Brian

There's a Nu Vinci equipped Nomad at SJS here for £1.2k. Do a bit of clever swopping and you have a nice Nomad and a great commuter for less than £2K. What's not to like?! Sell one on even!
