Rohloff chain lube is very good.  I dont think it realy matters that much what chain lube you use as long as it is chain lube and not wd40 or equivalent.

I am using Purple Extreme. I get about 200 miles and then it starts to squeak.
I then reapply and clean properly every 500 miles.

I have a folding Dahon that I take when I go abroad for work. When I was in Bahrain the chain started squeaking, did not have any Purple stuff - so I went into one of the many tailors and bought a bottle of sewing machine oil. Worked a treat cost 50 pence.

Forgot to mention that I reapply about every 200-road mile or after it has rained.  I live in a very wet part of Wales so it often rains before the 200 miles  (3 weeks).  Rohloff Chain lube stays pretty clean for a Wet Lube.
