Shimano 10 speed connector pins work with all Shimano 10 speed chains, whether mountain or road, right?

But they always seem so much faff compared to Sram (and everybody elses) quicklinks.

I love Shimano but have never considered buying their chain  ::)

Sram's quick links are 1 use only on ten speed.

Will MTB 10 speed chains work with road cogs?

yip i'm nearly sure they will  HG chains are narrow so will will work on 9 and 10 speed. ;)
