Worth a look apart from the adverts, I think they are irritating

Hi There,
There is far more to bike set up then in this video  :o its just a starting point.
A BG Bike Fit takes over 3 hours to set up your Bike, Shoe's, Saddle, and more!

A Pro bike fit takes 3/4 of an hour checking you for any body pain etc, flexing of legs, back, and loads more.

Then they get you on to your bike and look at how you seat on your Bike be for starting to adjust you Bike, Shoe's, Saddle and more.

It costs a lot But I now have more power (riding up hill's in one to two gears higher), Pain free for the last few weeks (after having the BG Bike Fit)

Please Note: I have had five or six bike fits like in the Video over the years and have had poor out comes to them all until I got a BG Bike Fit a few weeks ago.

Im currently messing around with my setup trying to get it just right.

One thing that I think Thorn could improve upon is their fitting service.  I think given the price range of their bikes they should offer a professional fitting service, even if that adds a little to the cost.

Hi Zero!

It isn't the full fitting service you're looking for, but I found having someone take profile shots of me on my other bikes was enormously helpful in setting-up Sherpa and then the Nomad to fit like my other bikes. I just drew wireframe hardpoints and overlaid the shots, adjusting saddle height and stem length/height to match, once the correct basic frame size was selected.

Best,

Dan.
