Having finished my first tour, from Amsterdam to Arnhem then from there across to Weese (old RAF Laarbruch) then on to Dusseldorf and down the Rhine to Karlsruhe, then Pforzheim to Calw, I have truly nothing but praise for my lovely bike. He needed new tyres at St Goar (he was purchased 2nd hand after all) and the great man there did a good job (worth going there!!!) but further the bike carried me (100kg) plus 12kg luggage in panniers and on my back in a rucksack, absolutely faultlessly. Thank you Thorn Cycles and Drover Cycles for an excellent bike.

Wonderful news and outcome for your ride, Jackie. So very pleased the bike worked out so well for you. Will you be riding it home again as well?
Any chance of some photos along the way, or showing how the Audax is kitted out?
Thanks so much for the report; it has already whetted others' appetites for an Audax of their own!
Best,
Dan.*
