Hi All!
Every once in awhile, I run across a product that leaves me a bit speechless.
In this case...Cycing muscle skinsuits. Truly!
http://muscleskinsuit.com/3-c
It may be better than this one: http://www.podiumcycling.com/cycling-jerseys/pee-wee-herman-skinsuit
These are unusual too:

Best,
Dan.

If you want the "just escaped from Gunther von Hagen's dungeon" look, then fill your boots. That said, it's probably the only way I'll get ripped at my age.
-
Hi Dan yes I would wear most of them
I like this one

Yes it's I.O.M.

a local company to me does some pretty interesting tops: http://www.halfbb.com/ (http://www.halfbb.com/) I particularly like the radioactive cow one myself...
-
things like that, and most offerings of spandex ... make me think I should take up another hobby, instead of cycling ... like cross country car trips.

Ah, Pavel...never underestimate the power of Spandex!
Such things are gaining popularity among the male crowd for other applications, such as these:

Hmm.
I figure if I were to go that route, halfway measures just won't do. I'd go all the way, with one of these:

All the best,
Dan. (...who can hear the refrain, "Look! On the bike! It's...SuperDanneaux!" and thinks the cape adds a nice touch and would get it 'cept the little neighbor boy thinks Danneaux is Batman on the black Nomad, so this one instead: http://www.spirithalloween.com/product/batman-the-dark-knight-muscle-chest-adult-costume-/ )

I recently saw the acronym MAMIL which stands for Middle Age Man In Latex which I thought was quite humerous.
I must say that my cycling wardrobe now takes up more room than all my other clothes put together. Having said that I am a long way off competeing with the wife's clothes collection. She has a walk in wardrode that measures over 90 square meters in floor space. When she comments on my need for a new bike I mention her shoe collection.

Snerk! :D Me, too!
...And then I realized I resembled that remark, at least insofar as my roadie cycling wardrobe. Sad, really. ;)
Ah, well. No good at all unless it terrorizes the younger generation and causes dowagers to remark in disgust. ;D
Best,
Dan. (...fashion saddle burr at large)

Middle Age Man In Lycra.
A Middle Age Man In Latex would be rather kinky :D

A Middle Age Man In Latex would be rather kinky
Right! ;D
Best,
Dan. (...who is laughing a lot while reading this thread)
-
Too true - the question is was it a word error to go from spandex to latex rather than lycra or was it a freudian slip.
I will argue the former rather than the later
Honestly gov

Of course, there's Wikipedia entries for this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spandex
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latex
Yer both right!
All the best,
Dan. (...who wonders what Freud's slip was made of)

The following conversation took place last week when I went on a family Weekend, rained like hell so I was wearing a full length lycra bib.
On arriving at the beautiful cottage dripping wet and obviously in some dissaray.
Sister 1 to Sister 2
"Our Ians here, fuckinell what is he wearing!"
Sister 2 "hahahaha, Mum come and look at our Ian, he looks like a Seal just escaped from a Shark"
Guffaws of laughter from everyone else....
Sister 3 " dont laugh at him, someone offer him a fish"
Guffaws of laughter from everyone else....
I have just ordered some cycling undershorts which I will now be wearing under baggy mtb shorts.....
As my Sis said, Quote " there should be a law against 50+ men in lycra" unquote
I think I agree.....

Thank you for that ;D

Aw, Ian! I feel for you, Man.
There's those who understand cyclists and those who don't.
For my money, you get the nod for cycling to the event and braving the rain. A hearty "Well done, fine job!" from me!
I'm guessing none of the other guests braved the elements in that way...
Still, it is not for everyone: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-SIwtMNrVZ9w/TxdJDlJ_fKI/AAAAAAAAAN8/Cptwc3C3rvY/s1600/spandex.png
All the best,
Dan. (...who thinks you did a fine-brave thing, riding in weather like that, Lycra or no)
-
Well Dan, im always taking the mickey out my sisters, so they got payback.... :P
Now that is a photo ....... :o :o
