As you well know, the holiday will be well-celebrated here in Danneauxville. The 17th is still about 5 hours away here, but there'll be soda bread on the table and some corned beef and cabbage on the plates -- can't wait!

For us Scots I suppose the closest would be Burns Night on the 25th of January.
