Very odd bidding on this one. Jumped from around £200 to £450+ from one bidder with 30 minutes to go!

E-bay anything can happen the last hour...or last seconds in my experience.

And I always snipe bids with Jbidwatcher (auto-bidding) 3 seconds before, many people do which means the very final bid may be much higher than expected (if somebody really, really wants it)

I agree with you there; the frenetic last-minute bidding is something else! With this one I was struck by a huge bid jump with thirty minutes to go but as you intimate, the dark arts of ebay are labyrinthine and 'of the night' LOL I must have a look at this jbidwatcher app though.

http://www.jbidwatcher.com/ used it for ages, works a treat.

If you really want something just check the page before using, I never had issues but every now and then e-bay changes something which can make it stop getting through.
