Don't get a 9 speed nickel plated wipperman connex if you have a road triple at the front.

Running 30-42-52 Ultegra front and 11-32 Deore at the back, the chain rubs on the "bridges" of the 42 ring that help with shifting when you downshift to granny ring, and then jams and comes off when up-shifting.

E-mailing Connex about this, who are helpful but until it's sorted get a shimano 9 speed if you have road front :)

Getting a 9 speed road triple is hard enough at the moment! Would like to upgrade my current deore triple to a 9 speed ultegra one, and just cannot seem to find any. May go down the XT route...

Chain reaction Cycles had a Ultegra triple on sale for £80 last week and plenty of Tiagra stuff. If hollowtech just get a new BB at £25 still a good price with upgrade.

You got my hopes up there... unfortunately its showing the 6603 for sale, which is 10 speed I think :(
