Title: Thorn single seat mounted cage bracket
Post by: russelldb on October 05, 2005, 09:41:16 AM
Hi,
Can anyone tell me how this (http://"http://www.sjscycles.com/store/vIndex.htm?item19.htm") product fits to the seat ? Does anyone have a picture of one in situ so I can get an idea of the angle that the bottle will be held at. I need a behind the seat cage for a Triathlon bike and tri specific products are extremely expensive.

Also, is there a double cage version ?

Many thanks in advance

Russell

It looks to me as though the small clamp end is intended to clamp around a saddle rail (preferable tubular - I wouldn't fancy it if you have forged Al. or shaped carbon rails). If that's true, you should be able to attach one to each saddle rail, provided you leave enough room (angle) between them to clear the caged bottles. Hope this helps.
