Came across this wiki page about Rohloff with an interesting table of speedhub serial numbers and years. Mine's a 2006 (05.... ) so there were around 50,000 about at the time. Who's got the oldest?

Same year, a few months after yours, into the 60Ks.
So far it looks like Pete is the Father of the Rohloff Chapter at the House of Thorn.

Not mine (which is about 137,000) but a good friend in my touring club has had a Rohloff since at least 1999. Don't know what his number is but must be around 2,000 or so. He does have more than one - one on his touring bike and one on his tandem. Not Thorns though - both are self-built frames that he has designed to suit his proportions (he is a very tall man).

Mine is 27,9xx.
Bought second hand from a well know online auction site about three years ago and installed into a custom built MTB frame (so not a Thorn - but I thought I'd add my info anyway).
The seller hadn't bought it new, so I've no idea on its mileage. The only problem I've had was losing all eight of the hub cap bolts so it dropped all its oil and freewheeled in both directions.

036..... ;D Still going strong.

Mine's a mere hatchling at 166xxx.
Best,
Dan. (...who's much relieved to hear of good things from owners whose 'Hoffs are still doing so well!)
