I wish I could make that claim! Too many scars on me....  :D

Welcome to the Forum; you've taken a great first step toward finding your frame by posting here.

Best,

Dan. (...who couldn't resist)

There's a Thorn on E-bay...single speed but you can put the Rohloff in yourself.

See: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Thorn-Raven-Single-Speed-Bike-/271143658398?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item3f216be39e

If price stays lower, it's economic enough to get that with a used Rohloff box.

There is a frame advertised on here also that was used by a 5"7' lady with flat bars and that might fit you, it's an XTC frame it's 26" but it's for derailleur. Rohloff would need a chain tensioner to work with that.

Happy hunting!

Think the owner means emigrating though ;)
I've thought of taking my Thorn Mk1 Nomad with me when I emigrate. There must surely be some intrinsic value to having a Thorn overseas, that it is better to retain, rather than lose in a pre-emigration sale.

Regardless, a nice looking bike and the Celtic decals are very attractive.

When we emigrated 7 years ago we completely failed on the pre leaving sale. In the end we had to hire 2 40 foot artics to move all our belongings. It is always best to hold onto things

Best news of all, Steve! Can't wait for it to be in your possession, I'll bet; one of the most beautiful Mercurys extant.

Congratulations!

Best,

Dan.
