My Alma Mater is nearby.  If I was still there I'd have it double quick.

A very nice bike and an absolute bargain.

Not sure that price can be right or what the frame size is but looks like someone is going to get a bargain

I have mailed the seller and told him I will buy the bike.
Im awaiting a response.

There is a rule in life. " if it looks to good to be true, it probably is"

Lets see what happens, at that price I would be happy to use it for training until I get my new Thorn.

I managed to buy this although the price was a tad more, which was fair.

However upon getting home (it was wet when I picked it up and I had to hurry home as the OH was on call) I realised it was too small and it fit because of the huge seat post and stem raiser. I was too busy looking for faults then checking the size.

The seat tube cc is about 52 and the tt is around 54 and I am just under 6ft.

I have cleaned and lubed it, but with the rubbish weather may not get a chance to go out till next week.

Its my first Thorn but I think I will need to get something bigger.

Well whatever happens you got a great deal Velo  ;)

When you do go for a more suitable Thorn, you will be able to flog that on for a profit and subsidise your new one   ;D

Happy cycling

Ian

Well I really want to see what difference a steel fork makes, if any and how it feels to ride with a rack.
