Hi all
I suppose this sort of thing could only have happened during wartime. Luxury sporting goods pressed into utility service.  The link shows a picture set of occupied Paris circa 1942. There are several amazing devices for carrying two passengers, but the ones with "two engines" are fantastic.

Wow Ian just seen this thread theres something very sinester about those pic's  gives me the gitters looking at them honestly :(
great find though and yes some snazy trailers.

Merry Christmas.

I believe the pictures were taken for Nazi war propaganda, so that explains the spookiness. It was just strange to see such obviously posh bicycles and Heath Robinson trailers together.
C'est la guerre. Make do and mend etc...

yeah creepy looking photos just to perfect kinda felt it was a set up.lets hope we never see the like again ever. :(
