Thanks Dan it was a guy who decided to put his ulock around his neck for handyness sake i suppose the idiot lost the keys  ;D ;D ;D what follows is class all true as the man said only in america. ;)

no chance Andy i can only type with one finger and only the right side of my little brain works at times ;D

Now, that would be worth a look! I can just picture it, poor guy.

Here'bouts, this is a popular tactic among protesters and those displaying civil disobedience -- they u-lock themselves to fences and such. The police now carry bolt-cutters as standard equipment, clipping the fence and leaving the u-locks intact. The protestors either carry the keys or hand them off to their compatriots so they won't be readily found if frisked by police.
