Title: Saddles?
Post by: Magnus Thor on April 06, 2005, 07:48:26 PM
I am debating what kind of saddle I should be getting for my catalyst.  The Fizik saddle I bought with it is pure torture for anything over an hour but I need something that will work on a mountainbike where you need to move around a lot.
I like long rides and will be doing some touring during the summer so it needs to be comfortable.
What do people recommend?

It has to be a Brooks for me, my favorite being a Brooks Professional off course your bum could be a different shape [;)]

Cheers

Maybe the saddle is ok, but what you need is a suspension seatpost.

The USE SX post is the one I use. It is not completely without stiction, but it smooths out most of the bumps.

Magnus,
I use a Brooks Pro with a Thudbuster, Not light but very, very comfortable.
Regards, David.
