Hi All!

As an aside, I just ordered a little stand like the one shown supporting this bike in the above auction photos. It uses engineering-grade plastic half-cylinders to support the bike by the rear q/r. Like the "orange-box stoves", they're currently flooding eBay and the price is dropping dramatically to the point of being a real bargain. Looks like a nice way to support the Nomad in the livingroom when it is not being ridden. I had some concerns about its sturdiness with a heavy bike, but it's doing a nice job propping up this Sherpa, isn't it? Mine cost USD$20 with free shipping, and is due to arrive between 20 September and 3 October.

Perhaps a pair of these would resolve Andre's need for supporting his bike with front hub-motor.... The supported wheel and the cranks still spin, which looks handy for chain cleaning and oiling and maybe even brake and gear adjustment, so long as one isn't too energetic in the process.

Best,

Dan.
