Title: Thorn RST - rim and brake question.

I love my RST :-*, but two things worry me:-
1. Where is the 'wear line' on the Zac 19 rims - I can't see anything there - does something appear when they're knackered?
2. The Deore V-brakes stop OK, but the arms seem to 'flex' too much under hard braking - is there something sturdier to upgrade to?

Can't help with the rims as I had lightweight DT Swiss rims fitted on mine. Never heard of the deore breaks not being up to the job, and they work fine for me so I would not worry about upgrading them.
