Title: Hub Dynamo on a tandem?

Is it worth it?
Are they strong enough?
Can they handle the power genereated by higher speeds?

The SON seems to do a pretty good job for us.

I don't think I've met anyone with a SON who has criticized its performance on any type of bike.

As for strength they come in versions up to 48 spoke - so they're obviously expecting it to take a fair amount of weight.

the only restriction I have read is that you shouldn't use a SON with a disc brake on a tandem.
