Hello!
I've just today got my brand spanking new Thorn Nomad, it's a beauty :)
I have a question for people: I bought a kick stand, specifically this one - http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/pletscher-esge-ks11-twin-leg-propstand-for-b-b-height-up-to-290-mm-up-to-and-inc-26-inch-prod1512/
I went to fit it, but the cabling for my Rohloff makes it rather awkward. Has anyone had a similar problem?
Any help much appreciated!
All best, peter
PS - I am aware that the kick stand voids the waranty, but would at least like to know I can put one on if I want.

I can see how it would be a problem. In my experience the rear stay mounted kickstands give better support and are easier to fit and use. On our tour to Central Australia my mate had a dual-leg stand and he had much grief over his bike toppling over when loaded and it being harder to find a stable place to support it (in sandy soils you need to just put a rock under the side stand, a bit harder with a dual-leg stand).
