You may think that this is a good or a "who cares?" of an idea.
Whilst touring around I ran into another guy with a Thorn eXp & I was amused that either side of the front of his top tube SJSC had printed the owner's name on; apparantly this was done without any fuss at all. I now wish that I would have asked for something similar.
It didn't look at all tacky & may add a little to the bike's security.

Nice touch, I'll get mine done when I order it up, although I may have to be mega pedantic as I'm not a big fan of the font they use for the bike names!!!!!!!

What font for what bike names? Excuse me if that seems an odd question.

Sorry Hawk, didn't make that clear!! On the pdf brochures the words "cyclosportif" and "audax" appear in a funny (to my mind) kind of joined up writing font towards the front of the top tube. Anybody with any cycling knowledge at all knows that the letters need to be separate and be of a less poncy nature (you can see I spend too long by my PC and not out on my bike enough)!!!!
That aside I think personalisation is spot on, after all that's what cycling's all about, being different.
Yours pedantically

you mean the 'Brushscript' font [:)]

Ahhh. I have the stealth paint job. No font required.

This thread inspired me to ask about having my name painted on the Raven I just ordered, but apparently it's really only practical with custom-painted frames since the name goes on underneath the clear coat. [:(]
