Title: How big tyres can you fit with SKS 45

Currently got SKS 45 mudgurards and 1.5 panaracer hi-roads, I want to fit knobblies for the snow. How big can I fit under these 'guards ?

The widest I can go is 700x37, with the front tyre slightly rubbing if I stand out of the saddle.

26*2.1 was too wide, and I had to the mudguards off
