Are thorn still making these. They don't seem to be on their website anymore
-
Maybe these have gone the same way as the handbuilt frames...
The frame builder was laid off some weeks ago.
In the absence of Thorn racks, Tubus are very good.
-
I hope not because the tubus on my audax MK3 isn't a great fit, really needs the thron light rear rack
-
Kevin (the frame builder) use to make the custom fit racks, so presumably they are no longer.
-
Perhapse someone from SJS cycles might like to confirm this
-
I see the rear racks are back in stock.

Thorn are no longer making the ultralight. Pitty

Hello
No. I have two Ultralight Rear Racks in boxes ready to post. Original cost each was £59:99!
John.

Hi John. Happy to relive you of one but I'm in Australia. If you want to work out how much the postage is and then let me know how I could pay it would be much apreciated.

Is this what you meant john? I live in a flat so I don't have access to a vice or metalwork equipment.

No!
Take look here as I mentioned earlier.

Yours needs more bend than this but you should get the idea.
I think you may now require new arms!

Thanks John, but it won't go around the rear brake like that. Without a workshop, I'm pretty happy with mine as the rack is only rated for a light wieght.

Best to get a new pair of arms and get someone with a vice and hammer to do it as a dog leg.
All the best,
John
