Hi there,
I came accross an ad for a 2nd-hand Thorn Raven Tour, so I went for a test ride. The bike is solid as a house, well maintained. The Rohloff hub produces quite some noise (serial # +50.000) I guess some hub noise is common?
I've been using a American Eagle Atlanta frame for the last couple of years, mainly for back country traveling. The Atlanta is pretty worn, and seriously damaged near the bottom bracket.
Could a Raven tour be a good substitute?
Here's the link to the ad http://link.marktplaats.nl/326565760 (http://link.marktplaats.nl/326565760) okay I know it's all in Dutch but it'll give you an idea?
last but not least; would 1500 euros be a good price for this bike?
experiences,ideas,tips welcome
thanks
cheers
