Title: New round the world attempt
Post by: neil_p on April 06, 2009, 06:30:02 PM
I don't have a TV, so apologies if everyone has seen this already...

I looked up my local bike shop on yell.com and noticed a link to this guy's blog:

http://www.globecycle.org/blog/

He's attempting to cycle round the world in 150 days... using a belt driven Rohloff!!!! I didn't realise belt drive had come far enough to be relied on for a round the world trip. It's also 45 days quicker than Mark Beaumont achieved last year.

I'm very interested to see how he gets on  :)

Hello,
I doubt that the record can be beaten by that much! However if he can keep it going Good Luck of course.
John.
