I'm currently at 4500km on a set of Panaracer Pasaela Tourguards with unknown inner tubes (Thorn fitted). I've never even had a p*******.... :o
What is everyone's personal best for tyre/tube longevity?

Do tubes ware out? I have some tubes that must be in excess of 20years old!
I am a miser when it comes to replacing parts I have just replaced the original chain on my Raven I got about 19,000kms from it (over 3 years).
I too am running Panaracer Pasaela TG (26 X1.25) I've got about 6,500kms on them at present I would hope for at least twice this. Several years ago I used to ride a Trek I can't tell you the model but the standard set of Bontrager tyres (700c) that came with the bike lasted close to 25,000kms (over 4 years)

The 26 x 1.75 Schwalbe Marathon Plus on my RT have covered 5400 miles (8600km) without a single p*******, so far. I think i should get another 1500 or so miles out of the rear and maybe 3000 out of the front.....
I must admit to being very pleased with them despite others voicing concerns about weight and rolling resistance.
Gary.

I do have a friend who seems to go through Schwalbe Marathon tyres in about 3000k, but that is fully loaded touring. He mocked my Panaracer Pasaelas when I met him in France, less than 5 minutes later he had a puncture. I had to look away to hide my smug grin ;D

The Panaracer Pasela on the front of my Raven Sports Tour has just completed 8000 miles. There's plenty of tread left.
I replaced the rear tyre with a Marathon after only about 1500 miles.
