Title: 1" suspension forks
Post by: tynevalleycommuter on March 01, 2004, 01:43:42 PM
I would like to fit some 1" suspension forks to an old hard-tail chromoly MTB frame that currently has 1" threaded rigid forks.

Does anybody know if such an item is made - either in threaded or ahead variety? I haven't had much luck searching for suitable units.[:(]

I'm looking for something relatively inexpensive...[:)]

be aware that although there are several makes of modern fork that can be supplied with 1inch steerers, the travel on them may knock the geometry of your bike way off - measure the fork (take a little off for load) and compare with your rigid fork before splashing the cash.
