This is my Audax bike. The frame was purchased from St John Street Cycles,at a cost of £299,circa 1995 and carries the number STA9531A.From memory, the frame was described as manufactured in Italy with Reynolds 531 Competition Tubes,to an Andy Blance design and finished at Argos Cycles in Bristol.Originally blue with white Argos decals. Fast and comfortable over long distances, this bike was used almost daily on a 40mile commute with fast tours and Audax at weekends until 2002 when it was sent to Argos for a refinish before a rebuild to its current spec .Regards,Steve

Hi John, thought that might raise comment. The clue is in the subject,it's pre Thorn ie the brand did not exist , SJSC supplied the frame with the decals from new, don't think they had a brand at the time.No shame(my other bikes a Raven Catalyst)
