I have a Brooks B17 titanium and a Mr Control Carbon seatpost. The only problem I have is that the Brooks doesn't seem to offer as much layback as other saddles. The parallel section of the rails (where the seat post clamp fits) is about 1 cm shorter than my Specialized saddle. But that's not a Thorn problem as such - it's a Brooks problem. I solved it with a seat post offering a bit more layback.

Not particularly. Take a look at the pictures of the Sherpa in 'Outdoor Life' on its first Camping trip. This was shortly after. Its fitted with Schmidt SON hub dynamo and lamp.
Any dynamo will work obviously but its what can be afforded at the time which determines. In my case at that time etc..
