Title: Sri Lanka 2026

Airline tickets bought.   Railway tickets to LHR bought.   Raven sorted.  Leaving UK in early Feb 2026.
Horrible flooding in SL so I wondered about cancelling but as I go in 2 months time I am continuing.

Great stuff, Andy. Here's hoping that some sort of normalcy has returned by the time of your trip. That cyclone has certainly done a number on them.

Now in SL.  My Raven arrived safely.  Great cycling roads and a level coastline. Hot as expected so early morning starts.

Great to hear you arrived safely.
SL is in my top 2 countries for touring. Just behind Thailand.
Great folks and food.

A fascinating read already. The flooding is presenting many unexpected challenges but the cycling looks great. Enjoy!
