Deepest condolences on the passing of your brother, Anto; I know that hit hard and I'm surely sorry.
Best of luck assembling the kit needed for your overnighters and nice to have you back! 😊

Anything to stop the farmers whining.

Still lashing up here have you still got that beautiful bike.
-
Welcome back, glad that you're still riding. Why wait till next year to get out camping, you don't need much kit, if you have the fitness just get out and do it.
-
PH anything but fit honestly but i do love my cycling but all my spins are short 30 to 40 km nice and easy.
i play a lot of pitch n putt that mostly takes up most of my time sometimes cycle to course 20 km there and back flat route.
i have a campspot in mind for my first outing beautiful spot by the sea wild camp but if im caught ill end up in jail is a bird reserve lol ;D ;D

It's still beautiful and it'll see me out, but right now I'm not piling up the miles on it.
I had cataracts replaced on both my eyes, and had to wait for new lenses to be ground in Germany because I like glass in my spectacles, not plastic, and apparently there is no glass lens grinding capability left in Ireland. The entire process consumed most of this year so far.
The new spectacles are finally on my nose, and as soon as I accustom myself to my new vision, I'll learn riding my bike anew.
I sure hope that old wives' tale is true that "you never forget how to ride a bicycle."
