Hello,
Some ne'er do well stole my bike buddy bottle holder, even took the time to unscrew my "grommets" from the frame.
It seems that the company (in fact a chap in his garage) has stopped trading, else has been forced off of the Internet.
The bike buddy is a brilliant system for rattle free attachment of a fuel bottle underneath the down tube. If anyone has a spare that they are not using, I will honour any (sensible) price.
Cheers

I'm afraid I don't have one, but a quick search of my link files turned up a last known email address for the maker...
enquiries@bikebuddy.co.uk
BIKEBUDDY SALES - Greenleys, Woodgreen Road, Waltham Abbey, Essex, EN9 3SD Tel / Fax: 01992 762817
The domain for the mail may not be active, but still worth a shot in the dark, methinks, to see if he has any remaining stock available. Even a one-off might get you back up and running.
The website's sales page was active through 18 January 2022.
I did turn up a UK listing for Bornel Engineering associated with Bike Buddy, but that firm shows as dissolved in 2011 according to company listings.
So sorry for the loss of yours! Aggravating, grrr!
Best, Dan.

Thanks Dan,
Sorry for the delay

Hi,
I have a complete Bike Buddy somewhere in my shed I would sell. It's unused and complete. I tried fitting it to my Thorn Raven but found it didn't suit me. From memory there were different models but that might be wrong. Fairly sure my one has two or three sets of different band lengths. Let me know if you are still looking for one and I will dig it out.

Update to my earlier post. I found my Bike Buddy. It's a Mark 3 version (don't know difference from Marks 1 and 2). It dates from 2016 and as it's stainless steel it hasn't aged. It comes with two sets of mounting pegs and two different spring band lengths - approx 10cm and 20 cm allowing for different bottle diameters to be carried. It works on the basis of the cage being fixed to the bottle and the whole assembly slipping on and off the spring loaded location pegs screwed into the frame bosses.
