I have all XT drive train square taper bottom bracket ( I do not like the latest types at all)with Ultegra bar end levers. The brake levers are DiaCompe normal drop bar type.

John, are those tires Schwalbe City Jets? How do they compare to say the Pancera Hi Roads or a pair of Schwalbe Marathons?

Yes they are/were. I was very pleased with them as they ran very quick. I changed them over to Schwalbe Marathons before my Camping trip. I have a very bad aversion to punctures and trust the Marathons implicitly! I have the City Jets just lying around for 'spares now'.
I have no reason other than the fact that they were cheap to doubt them.
