Title: KMC chain ept derivative

Anyone know if the ept version offers anything more than a e1 version other than some rust protection?

Don't think so, though can't see it doing any harm either.  Might be a mute point anyway, I think KMC dropped the non EPT version some time ago, maybe it wasn't worth offering both.  There's a few places still showing some old stock, a couple of quid cheaper, take your pick.  I can't remember having a chain rust since I got a clip round the ear for letting it happen fifty+ years ago!  Though I don't live in the harshest environment.
Has the price of these dropped? I stocked up on the original version from a German retailer pre Brexit/Covid, five chains for £100.  Doesn't matter, they're sat here ready for when needed, I just thought I'd made more of a saving!
