I have the older/original, triangular type Rohloff shifter grip.
I've just tried to remove the grip, following the official Rohloff video (link below), but it won't budge!
I got as far as removing the circlip, but the actual grip won't move!
Can you actually remove this older type of grip or is it just stuck?
Any advice gratefully received.
Cheers 😊👍

The video you’ve used appears to refer to the later, post 2010 shifter unit and grip. I think it was established that you have the pre 2010 unit with the triangular style rubber grip.
Suggest you look at this link,
https://www.rohloff.de/en/service/handbook/speedhub/assembly/twist-shifter/twist-shifter-until-2010
Scroll down the page to the section on changing the grip. Unlike removal of the later post 2010 grip, it appears that the removal process for your grip involves moving/ loosening the cable inners.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

Had the same experience. Not only is there a difference in procedure, you will also need a different part.
